I'm so thrilled that my poem was selected for Iowa City's UNESCO City of Literature Poetry in Public initiative for 2024. I was invited to read the poem at the Iowa City Book Festival on October 20th. You can find details for the event here.

After three years studying at the University of Iowa, I earned by Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing on the publishing track with High Distinction.

The Translate Iowa Project at the University of Iowa published my poem "Love as a reference librarian" alongside its Spanish and French translations in its Boundless magazine. My poem "Tinted Windows" was also published with its French translation. Read  all of volume VIII here.

My unpublished YA science fiction novel, Powerless, won an honorable mention from the 2020 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

"Fluorescent Freedom" won two awards from the Florida Writers Association at their 7th Annual Youth Writers Conference: a gold Royal Palm Literary Award for best unpublished short fiction ages 16-17 and the Candice Coghill Memorial Award for best overall youth submission. Read the short story here.
